Bond Set at $250,000 for Driver in Crash Which Left Teen Paralyzed

Last updated 6 years ago

Sending a strong message, the Judge issued a high bond for the driver whose car ran up onto a sidewalk in front of Bogan High School on May 2, 2012.  The impact threw the 17 year old pedestrian over 100 feet, fracturing his spine, and leaving him paralyzed.  Although neither drinking nor drugs were involved, the driver who caused the accident had a recent history of seizures.  He has been charged with aggravated reckless driving.
