Two tractor trailer trucks and one car collided on the Bishop Ford Freeway on July 31. One person was injured and was taken to St. Margaret's Hospital. The accident caused about 200 gallons of fuel to spill onto the road, forcing the Chicago Fire Department hazardous materials team to close all lanes of the freeway. Firefighters used sandbags to contain the spill. The freeway reopened around 11:30 PM Tuesday night.
