Pedestrian Killed as Car Jumps Curb on Far South Side

Last updated 6 years ago

Kenneth Collins, 43, a mental health counselor, was tragically killed while crossing the street in the Far South Side of Chicago on August 17, 2012.  Mr. Collins had dedicated his life to helping troubled teenagers at the juvenile unit at Roseland Hospital.  The male driver, who was not identified, lost control of his car, jumped the curb, and struck Mr. Collins at 45 W. 111th St.  He stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.  McCready, Garcia & Leet extends our condolences to Mr. Collins's family.  We routinely represent the families of pedestrians killed in car accidents.  If you would like to speak with a Chicago car accident attorney, please call us at (773) 779-9885 for a free consultation.
