A multi-vehicle crash in the Little Village section of Chicago injured eight people on October 20, 2012, including three correctional officers from the Cook County Sheriff's Department who were on their way to work at nearby Division 11. At least six ambulances responded to the crash. Four of the victims, including one child, were transported to hospitals in serious-to-critical condition; the other four, all adults, were in good-to-fair condition.
