Last updated 5 years ago

A Chicago Public Schools bus driver was arrested on November 7, 2012, for driving a school bus under the influence of alcohol while children were on board.  Kenny Sellers, 41, was pulled over for erratic driving and found to be intoxicated.  Four children were on the bus, which was operated by the bus contractor Jewel's.  Sellers was charged with seven citations, including a felony count of aggravated DUI for a bus driver and aggravated battery against a police officer, after he tried to fight and escape arrest.  The school district has banned Sellers from further driving for the CPS system.
